BRODEQUIN - Harbinger Of Woe

Brodequin названы в честь средневекового устройства для пыток, но у группы своя длинная и гнусная история. Братья Джейми и Майк Бейли бьют себя по голове с 1998 года. Их первый альбом вывел их далеко за пределы их королевства Ноксвилл. Но, заняв трон одного из самых жестоких правителей во всем дэт-металле, Brodequin скрылись в тени. Теперь, спустя 20 лет, Brodequin вернулись с Harbinger of Woe. Их долгожданный четвертый альбом также не разочаровал. Лид-сингл “Of Pillars and Trees” – это классический Brodequin. Риффы перемалываются, как отрубленные конечности в мясорубке. Новый барабанщик Бреннан Шэкелфорд бьет по тарелкам с убийственным намерением, как по булаве с шипами. Brodequin are named after a medieval torture device, but the band come with their own long and sordid history. Brothers Jamie and Mike Bailey have been banging their heads together since 1998. Their first album catapulted them far beyond their kingdom of Knoxville. But after seizing the throne as one of the most brutal rulers in all of death metal,  Brodequin disappeared into the shadows.  Now, after 20 years, Brodequin have returned with Harbinger of Woe. Their long-awaited fourth album does not disappoint, either. Lead single “Of Pillars and Trees” is classic Brodequin. The riffs churn like severed limbs through a meat grinder. New drummer Brennan Shackelford pings his cymbals with all the murderous intent of a spiked mace. Heck, the death growls are nasty enough to make you think that Jamie is sucking the blood of his enemies through a straw.   At long last, Brodequin are back to reclaim their crown.
